MLS Power Rankings - Week Three

Soccer Spin MLS Power Rankings
1. Chicago (2-0-1). Defense has been best so far. Busch saved the day against Quakes.
2. Kansas City (2-1-1). Team looks strong early, considering the number of changes they made that's impressive.
3. FC Dallas (1-0-2). First win after two draws. Hot start though as usual.
4. Colorado (2-1-0). Rapids have been hot early this season.
5. Chivas USA (1-1-1). Missing Suarez really hurt their Defense that bad?
6. Columbus (2-1-0). Team gelling.
7. Houston (0-1-2). Defense was better, not hitting the net yet though.
8. New England (2-2-0). Battling injuries, can't compete consistently.
9. Real Salt Lake (1-1-1). Confidence booster from stomping on DC.
10. New York (1-1-0). Very up and down so far as well.
11. Toronto FC (1-2-0). Adding players finally and starting to come around?
12. DC United (1-2-0). Looking very poor, battling injuries and crowded early schedule.
13. Los Angeles (1-2-0). Lost to Toronto at home! Squandered many chances.
14. San Jose (0-2-0). Needs to win or tie a game to get out of the hole at this point.

DC and Houston sure haven't looked good so far. It's funny how this happened to them both last year at the beginning of the season and than they turned it on after that.

SJ is a decent team but needs to start getting results before they join the mix to fight for any playoff spots.
