The San Jose Earthquakes are pursuing Brondby and Haitian international forward Jean-Philippe Peguero. Peguero played in MLS for both the Colorado Rapids and the New York Red Bulls, before being sold to Brondby in 2006. He was injured in his trhid game for them when he ruptured both the anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments in his right knee.
Aparently, Peguero is healthy now and has been playing in reserve matches for Brondby. Peguero scored 20 goals in 58 MLS regular season games and one goal in five playoff appearances while with New York and Colorado.
Here's video of a hat trick he scored for the Metrostars versus Chivas USA. All three goals are very different from each other.
Here's a video of Peguero displaying his juggling skills for the children:
Do you recall Peguero from his former MLS days? Is he the forward the Quakes have been missing?

If he's healthy and doesn't cost too much, sounds like he'd be a great pickup!
I used to love this guy. Glad the Quakes picked him up!
